First single on Ninja Tune from new label signee Eskmo (aka Brendan Angelides). ‘Cloudlight’ is released 6 September – a song that somehow manages to rope together the aesthetics of glitch, dubstep and r&b.

Troubling, beautiful and strangely uplifting all at once, it states, simply and without the need for any of these words, that Eskmo is a new and unique presence in electronic music.

Nick “Salokin” Madrid is a world-class DJ who’s been on the San Francisco scene for over a decade and can literally spin anything into anything else, crushing your soul to pieces while doing it. He’s performed with Evol Intent, Lime Wax, 12th planet, DZ and many other greats, was with the elite Reflex SF crew for many years and has been a part of BADNB (Bay Area Drum n Bass) and preformed on the float at Lovefest for the last few years killin’ it every time!

Now, in 2010, Salokin’s gone completely off the chain and is in search of audio vengeance. subLOGIC.fm has been hanging out with Salokin and the Rukkuz crew for a minute, now, at the Compression parties, other events around town and in the studio at the Rukkuz Muzic compound.
